Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various flooring materials and installation techniques, ensuring high-quality workmanship in residential and commercial settings. The Flooring Installer will be responsible for the complete installation process, from preparation to finishing touches, while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.
Duties
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit designated areas accurately.
- Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as necessary.
- Install various types of flooring including LVP, LVT, hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet.
- Perform water damage restoration to affected areas as needed.
- Execute fixture installations related to flooring projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
- Buff and finish floors to achieve a polished look.
- Apply caulking where necessary to ensure a clean finish around edges and fixtures.
- Read blueprints and project specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to quality standards.
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in flooring installation or related maintenance person work, with skills in:
- Water damage restoration techniques.
- Building and installing various floor care solutions.
- Proficient use of hand tools relevant to flooring tasks.
- Blueprint reading for accurate project execution.
