Associate - Litigation

The Orlando office of BakerHostetler is seeking an Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join its Litigation Practice Group. As a member of the Commercial Litigation Team, the candidate will join a leading national law firm and work on complex litigation matters. This opportunity is ideal for those individuals who wish to further their careers in a supportive, collegial and entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications Of The Ideal Candidate Include

• A wide range of experience in general commercial litigation, including preparing pleadings, initiating, and responding to paper discovery, taking and defending depositions, and drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Federal and state court litigation experience.
• Exceptional project management skills and work ethic.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues.
• Excellent academic credentials, outstanding attention to detail, and strong research, writing, oral advocacy, and discovery skills.
• The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment.
• Admitted to practice law in Florida.

• AmLaw 100 law firm experience.
• Experience in product liability, construction, real estate, ADA or class action litigation.
