Provide high-quality services to low-income children and families to ensure optimum academic, social and economic success. Coordinates the smooth operation of the Child Nutrition Department.
- Reviews and consolidates monthly information to ensure the agency submits an accurate claim for reimbursement for all participating locations.
- Assists Accounts Payable Department with processing of USDA Food Program invoices for appropriate quantities and pricing.
- Track meal payments and monitor correspondence with parents for collection of outstanding balances.
- Assists Sr. Family Wellness Coordinator in preparation for monitoring of USDA food programs by state and local authorities.
- Reviews all required reports and administrative forms for accuracy and completion including CACFP information, applications and related PROMIS reports submitted by school locations. Assists with development of materials related to program events and trainings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
