As a member of Compliance & Quality Assurance, you will join an incredibly talented support department dedicated to regulatory compliance, process improvement, and internal controls to advance BakerRipley's impact in the Houston region.
Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Manager and Director of Compliance & Quality Assurance, the Risk & Compliance Analyst is responsible for assessing internal controls, identifying business process improvements, and providing technical assistance to support the Agency's pursuit of its mission.
Expected Positive Outcomes
• Prepare and issue timely and accurate compliance reports identifying areas of noncompliance; observations. Maintain complete, organized and accessible compliance records.
• Facilitate project and process mapping teams effectively to successful completion of specific goals, as needed.
• Support change management at the organizational level.
• Support the development of process metrics scorecards, and reports, to support management of processes and operational performance.
• Develop good working knowledge of local, state, federal and contractual rules and regulations, and interpret information to assess Agency compliance.
Essential Functions
• Conduct monitoring inspections on location or remotely of program/service areas to determine ongoing compliance with applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations, contractual requirements, and Agency policies and procedures to occur daily, monthly, quarterly, or as needed.
• Develop and utilize monitoring tools as needed to support and document compliance reviews and investigations.
• Work alongside multiple program and administrative staff to document and improve processes; create and update process maps, and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Review and make recommendations regarding Agency-wide policies and procedures for accuracy, clarity and consistency. Identify and document apparent trends, risks, and instances of noncompliance that require corrective action.
• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with external/internal contacts.
• Collaborate with other team members.
Local travel to BakerRipley offices and sites is required, and regional travel is optional. Candidate must have access to reliable transportation.
