Under general direction of Manager of Compliance, SIMS specialist performs a variety of duties and responsibilities involved in enrolling and withdrawing students; creating and maintaining accurate student records; providing student services and related duties.

Core Duties And Responsibilities
- Become familiar with the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook and Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) Data Standards.
- Responsible for the integrity of the information that’s entered in the student software system.
- Work cooperatively with other campus personnel to collect and organize required PEIMS data.
- Attendance reconciliation
- Maintain accurate and auditable records
- Distribute reports and run queries for appropriate campus staff for analysis, verification, and correction.
- Provide technical assistance to campus faculty and staff on the use of grade reporting and student attendance software.
- Maintain student cumulative folders
- Performs other duties as assigned.
