- Requirements Gathering: Consult with the client to determine their preferences (e.g., type of glass, thickness, energy efficiency needs).
- Measurement: Take precise measurements of the spaces for the glass installations, ensuring accuracy to avoid errors in ordering and installation.
2. Material Selection
- Glass Type: Choose the appropriate type of glass based on client needs (e.g., tempered, insulated, laminated, frosted).
- Frame Selection: Assess the type of frame (e.g., aluminum, uPVC, wood) required for the installation.
- Finish Options: Determine any additional finishes (e.g., tinting, coating, anti-glare, soundproofing).
3. Cost Estimation
- Material Costs: Calculate the cost of glass, frames, and any other materials required for the project.
- Labor Costs: Estimate the time and labor required for installation.
- Additional Factors: Consider factors like transportation, disposal of old materials, or special handling requirements.
- Discounts/Markup: Factor in any company discounts or markup for sales purposes.
4. Quotation & Proposal
