Overview : Join our team as a Chief Building Maintenance Technician Specialist, where you will not only handle hands-on maintenance work but also take on significant coordination and oversight responsibilities. This role is perfect for someone who excels in facility management and thrives in a leadership position, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform and oversee inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Ensure timely repairs and maintenance to critical infrastructure and support systems.
Install, replace, and repair various equipment and fixtures such as flooring, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC systems.
Manage facility budgets, track expenses, and coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility-related projects.
Conduct regular safety inspections, provide training on safety protocols, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
Fabricate solutions and customize repairs to address unique facility-related challenges.
Lead projects from conception to execution, ensuring they are completed within budget and timeline constraints.

Required Experience & Qualifications :

Proven experience in facility management or a related technical field, with a strong foundation in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Extensive knowledge of high and low voltage systems.

Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with the ability to direct and motivate a team.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to best practices in facility management.

Certifications in relevant areas such as HVAC, electrical work, or refrigeration are a plus.

Experience with specific systems such as ammonia refrigeration, CNC lathes and mills, and aerospace ground equipment would be beneficial.

Additional Skills :

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments and external parties.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
