Founder Michael Smulders listened to his Celiac customers complain about the taste of many of the gluten free options available to them. Position Summary & Key Areas of Ownership

Responsible for running various aspects of production, packaging, and cleaning for a natural food manufacturer.

Core Responsibilities

Operating different machines within the production room.
Packaging of product.
Assisting with cleaning of the production room and various other areas.
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
Accurately complete all production paperwork as assigned.
Knowledge of line cleaning and SKU changes.
Switch between products quickly and efficiently as needed.
Print necessary box labels as needed.
Make sure the production area is cleaned daily and trash is removed.
Good communication skills to work with production, maintenance, and management staff.
Should have good verbal and written communication skills.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

Expected to learn Basic Good Manufacturing Practices and Hygiene, work instructions for your assigned work area, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safety Procedures and Quality at the Source testing and documentation for your assigned work area.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work independently and as a team player. The right candidate will be able to work efficiently and effectively in all aspects of the position and be available for overtime as needed.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED), on the job training is offered.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. This position is in production and could involve any / all of the following physical work conditions for long periods of time throughout the shift :
