What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Team Member 2nd Shift position at Bakery On Main?
SUMMARY
The Warehouse Team Member must be self disciplined, able to multi task and work independently, and have excellent communication skills. Job duties include but are not limited to the following.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Building distributor pallet orders.
- Assisting with pallet layout forms, pallet tags, bill of ladings for pallet shipments and international paperwork.
- Assist with traffic functions.
- Loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Ability to navigate the internet, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
- Small package shipments.
- Sample orders and maintaining the inventory for the sample orders.
Basic Job: All items will be placed into the plant areas following the Bakery On Main Storage Program and follow any other programs identified such as the Hold, Rework and Release Policy. For shipping, all finished product will be properly stored in the warehouse following the Storage Program until the authorization to ship is issued by the shipping and receiving manager.
Expected to learn Basic Good Manufacturing Practices and Hygiene, Work Instructions for assigned work area, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures for assigned work area, Standard Operating Procedures for assigned work area, Safety Procedures for assigned work area, and Quality at the Source testing and documentation procedures for assigned work area.
Area Cleanliness: Insure that all areas are being cleaned daily and trash removed. This includes all equipment required to carry out the receiving and shipping duties.
Product Safety: Insure that the Bakery On Main GMP and HACCP plan are followed daily. Report to the Warehouse Team Leader any problems that compromise product Safety.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work independently and as a team player. The right candidate will be able to work efficiently and effectively in all aspects of the position and be available for overtime as needed. Must be Forklift certified.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and on the job training is offered.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
