Head Chef / Recipe Developer / & Social Media Coordinator

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented individual to fill a combined role that includes being the Head Chef/Recipe Developer/Baker as well as the Social Media Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a love for baking, experience with recipe development for children, and a creative flair for engaging social media content. This is a unique role where you’ll be leading the creation of our monthly baking kits, as well as creating and executing social media strategies to expand our brand's reach.

Key Responsibilities:

Recipe Development & Baking

• Develop and test new, seasonally appropriate baking recipes for our monthly kits.
• Create engaging, kid-friendly instructions and baking tips for each recipe.
• Appear in pre-recorded and live video tutorials on social media, demonstrating baking techniques in a fun and friendly manner.
• Engage with our social media audience through live sessions, TikToks, Instagram content, and other creative formats.
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team to align social media content with upcoming kits.
• Stay up-to-date with baking trends, bringing fresh ideas to the table for both recipes and engagement strategies.
• Light video editing.
  
  

Social Media & Marketing

• Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Create engaging, visually appealing content that resonates with both children and parents while maintaining the brand's voice.
• Monitor social media engagement and analyze performance metrics to optimize content.
• Respond to customer inquiries and feedback on social media in a timely and friendly manner.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives, including e-commerce promotions and partnerships.
  
  

Qualifications:

• A passion for baking and positive energy.
• Strong recipe development skills, particularly for kids.
• Excellent on-camera presence and ability to engage with a young audience.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and trends.
• Light video editing and content creation skills.
• Creative skills in graphic design, especially using tools like Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• An understanding of how to make baking accessible and fun for children.
