Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of surgical scheduling experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with only general supervision
- Experience with ModMed EMR preferred
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling surgical operations with excellence and care
- Provide a high level of service to patients
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls to the appropriately
- Assist with medical administrative tasks including insurance verification and billing
- Obtaining pre-operative clearance and medical records
- Providing patients with directions before and after surgery.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a Surgery Coordinator role
- Podiatry or Ortho experience preferred
- Familiarity with office procedures and phone systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical administrative support
- Experience working in a medical office setting, Podiatry experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills.
Salary : $19 - $24
