Compensation: $30-$36 per hour
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management Specialist to join our Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the asset management industry and will be responsible for managing IT assets, including shipping, receiving, scheduling e-waste, working with third-party vendors, inventory management, cycle counting, and creating documentation. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipping and receiving of IT assets, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking.
- E-Waste Management: Schedule and coordinate the disposal of electronic waste in compliance with industry best practices and environmental regulations.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors to procure, maintain, and dispose of IT assets.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software, using asset management tools.
- Cycle Counting: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Best Practices: Implement and adhere to industry best practices for asset management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset management, preferably in an IT environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
- Knowledge of e-waste regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
