Job Title : Inventory Control Specialist I
Type of Role : Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours : 1st Shift : Monday - Friday 6 AM - 2 : 30 PM
Location : Manor, TX
Hourly Range : $21.00
Responsible for recording and maintaining control of all inventory items purchased and produced.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Manages inventory programs, including inventory estimates and analyses, maintenance of metrics tracked, reporting to management, and resolution of inventory issues that arise
- Pro-Actively increases turns by customer product and meets corporate goals
- Provides recommendations for purchasing strategies, inventory disposition, and inventory management
- Monitor POs from a macro level for over-commits, cancels and push outs
- Actively Manages the cycle count program, reconciliation, metrics and outside audits
- ECN control and disposition follow up for affected material
- Final review and reconciliation of work order variance and closure
- Coordinates product transfers to other company manufacturing sites
