Job Title : Assembly Technician II
Type of Role : Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours : 2nd Shift : Monday - Friday 2 : 30pm - 10pm - Flexibility for OT needed
Location : Manor, Texas
Hourly Range : $19.00 / hr - $19.50 / hr shift differential
The Assembly Technician II is responsible for performing intermediate to complex assembly tasks to manufacture high-quality equipment components. This role supports the production of precision equipment, ensuring adherence to industry standards and quality requirements. The Assembly Technician II will work both independently and as part of a team, operating under general supervision and collaborating with engineering and production staff as necessary.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Performs basic mechanical assemblies & sub-assemblies.
- Must be able to leak test
- computers, etc.Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.
- Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.
- Interacts with management and team members to encourage effective communication on the production floor.
- Performs standard testing and minor troubleshooting.
- Ensures quality standards are met throughout all steps of the assembly process.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Attendance is an essential duty of the position.
