Job Title: 2nd Shift In-Process Inspector AOI
Location: Kenosha
Pay: $18.72 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift
Job Purpose:
Monitor and inspect circuit board assemblies in the SMT department using Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) and/or X-ray (5DX) equipment to ensure product quality and reliability.
Nature of Duties:
- Monitor SMT product at designated stations using AOI or 5DX
- Identify components, including part numbers, values, sizes, shapes, placement, and solderability
- Report findings and document results
- Perform additional tasks as needed
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Experience with AOI and/or 5DX equipment
- Knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
- Must be available for overtime as needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Solder certification and experience in electronics or contract manufacturing preferred
