Job Title : Sanitation Worker
Type of Role : Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours : possibly starting 6p-2 : 30am, must work 6pm-6am if needed
Location : Selma, Tx 78154
Role and Responsibilities :
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, workstations and other areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Use appropriate cleaning agents, chemicals, and tools in a safe and effective manner
- Ensure that all surfaces are free from allergens, debris, and any residues that may affect food safety or quality
- Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and safety shoes as required
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks
- Assist with setting up and cleaning production areas before, during, and after production runs
- Maintain and operate sanitation equipment and ensure that equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
