Job Title : Refrigeration Tech
Type of Role : Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours : Day Shift
Location : Fremont, CA
Hourly Range : $25-$30 / hr
A refrigeration technician installs, maintains, and repairs refrigeration systems. They also perform preventive maintenance to ensure the systems run smoothly.
Responsibilities
Installation : Install refrigeration systems, including electrical components and wiring
Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep systems running well
Troubleshooting : Diagnose problems and identify parts that need to be replaced
Safety : Ensure systems are safe to use and comply with state and national codes
Documentation : Keep records of work performed and prepare work estimates
Training : Train new technicians and assist other trades
Customer service : Discuss system issues with customers and provide information on how to use the equipment
Qualifications
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems
Experience with refrigeration systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to lift and stoop
