Job Title : Rework Operator
Type of Role : Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours : 2nd Shift
Location : Phoenix, Arizona
Hourly Range : $21-24
The Rework Technician is responsible for performing detailed and routine repair operations on assemblies, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. This role includes prioritizing tasks, conducting repairs, and routing assemblies through various stages of production. Available at Levels I-III, this position offers opportunities for growth and specialization.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Prioritize tasks according to production guidelines.
- Locate and gather parts and materials using part number cross-referencing.
- Perform repairs on circuit boards and route them to the next operation.
- Conduct online rework / repair tasks and hand soldering as needed.
- Inspect rework / repairs and update board quantities in the automated system.
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork.
- Log labor data into the tracking system.
- Use soldering equipment to replace damaged components and conduct desoldering as required.
- Retrieve and verify correct paperwork and drawings for each assembly.
- Submit WebMR parts requisitions for rework needs and use defect codes to identify issues.
- Follow manufacturing routings and instructions with minimal supervision.
- Keep a clean work area, adhering to safety and ESD practices to ensure quality standards.
