Now Hiring : Janitor – Well-Established Company in Lodi, CA

Pay : $20.00 / hour
Location : Lodi, CA
Shift : Day Shift
Temp to hire. Monday to Friday to start, 6 : 00am-3 : 30pm.
Experience : Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing setting required

Job Overview :

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and sanitary facility, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors

Collect and dispose of trash inside and outside the facility

Clean and sanitize lunchrooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas

Replenish supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)

Maintain cleanliness in the production department, including doorway aisles and workstations

Clean injection molding machines and remove cobwebs as needed

Wash facility windows and maintain the janitorial supply area

Operate a heavy-duty commercial floor scrubber / polisher for floor maintenance

Assist with basic facility and equipment maintenance as needed

Qualifications & Requirements :

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 1 year janitorial / custodial experience in a manufacturing setting

Experience using janitorial tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals safely

Familiarity with PPE usage (gloves, masks, etc.) and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

Ability to operate commercial floor cleaning machines (wet-vac attachment experience a plus)

Strong communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions :

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout the shift

Occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs

Work in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to loud noise, seasonal temperature changes, and moving machinery
