What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at BALANCE STAFFING?
Primary:
1. Follow instructions from the supervisor on how to inspect, strip, count, tube,
assemble, test, and/or pack, depending on the job assignment and in
accordance with quality and productivity expectations.
2. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace or assembly station to avoid
contamination.
3. Complete all daily paperwork.
4. Label pertinent information of all materials.
5. Contact set-up with any problems.
Secondary:
1. Participate in continual training and development.
2. Assisting other Assemblers when required.
General:
All Assemblers must be certified to work in this department.
Certification includes:
- Tubing 60 cuffs with small parts, precisely without any sign of contamination using
a black light.
- Assembler will be re-certified three times a year.
Education:
No minimum level of education is required.
Experience:
No experience is required.
Training:
Will receive on-the-job training in all processes involved.
Mathematical Skills:
1. Basic math skills required.
2. Must be able to use a calculator and understand percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
1. Must be able to identify when production requires assistance and immediately
ask for help.
2. Must be able to absorb training quickly, accurately and in a consistent manner.
