Job Summary:
Responsible for recording and maintaining control of all inventory items purchased and produced.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory programs, including inventory estimates and analyses, maintenance of tracked metrics, reporting to management, and resolution of inventory issues.
- Proactively increase turnover by customer product and meet corporate goals.
- Provide recommendations for purchasing strategies, inventory disposition, and inventory management.
- Monitor Purchase Orders (POs) from a macro level for over-commits, cancellations, and push-outs.
- Actively manage the cycle count program, reconciliation, metrics, and outside audits.
- Follow up on Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for affected material disposition.
- Final review and reconciliation of work order variance and closure.
- Coordinate product transfers to other manufacturing sites.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong presentation skills at all levels.
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles, procedures, and standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Strong Excel and Access skills.
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP system – Visual a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across many levels of the organization and on an inter-site basis.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience.
- APICS certification preferred.
Experience Requirement:
Work Experience:
- 3 years of inventory analyst experience. Cost accounting experience strongly preferred. Manufacturing experience as a scheduler or planner is a plus.
