Description
Balanced Body is an energetic, environmentally sensitive company that is growing! Balanced Body leads the world in providing Pilates equipment and education. The Woodshop team contributes to growing our company and ensures that materials are ready to assemble quickly for our customers.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for operating the CNC machine. The position requires basic computer skills and the ability to learn to use the programs for the machine. Some basic mechanical skill is required for maintaining the equipment and making routine changes to cutters, markers, etc. Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
Requirements
The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform each essential duty:
- Experience working on a Robot/CNC machine is desirable;
- Working knowledge of safe wood working techniques and tooling;
- Tools include: saw, sander, router, grinder and battery power drills;
- Good verbal communication skills;
- Able to adapt to changing needs and priorities;
- Able to sit, stand, reach and carry as needed for a full shift (8 -10 hours);
- Must be able to lift, carry up to a maximum of 50 lbs;
- Must be self-motivated and have a positive, solution-seeking attitude;
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Able to commit to a consistent work schedule with good attendance;
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range:
CNC Operator $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
CNC Operator and Programmer - $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
This is a Monday to Friday position. The hours are expected to be 6:00AM to 2:30PM.
Swing Shift available. The hours for Swing shift are Monday to Thursday 2:15PM - 12:45AM.
