Qualifications:
- Active PsyD, PhD, LCSW, or LMHC FL License
- Clear on Level 2 screening (background check as per AHCA requirements)
- Clear on drug test.
- Peer references (3) are required (LCSW or PsyD or PhD).
- Good communication and computer skills are must.
- Candidates must be a team player.
- This job requires a level of physicality that includes the ability to walk 300
- yards, enter/exit patient rooms while rounding on patients and carry up to 25lbs.
- As a salaried employee a minimum daily average requirement of 12 encounters/day with a 16minute face to face session.
Job Responsibility:
- Performing psychological assessments on mostly geriatric patients, providing psychotherapy as needed, and make referrals to psych med mgmt. as appropriate.
- Ability to make rounds, going from room to room, communicating to patients and facility staff members is required.
Work Hours:
- Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm (one hour lunch break included). No formal on call duty.
