How our Pastry Cooks will make sure our members and their guests have a
GREAT experience at their club…
- Prepares pastry items, including pastries, breads, desserts, ice cream, sorbet, mousse, custards, and cakes according to established recipes, quality and presentation and guidelines.
- Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods.
- Learn and work all the areas in the pastry section of the kitchen.
- Ensures proper storage of all pastry items in refrigerators and freezers to maintain product freshness.
- Assists with ensuring food leaves the kitchen simultaneously and in a timely fashion, is of high quality, and is prepared according to order.
- Ensures all food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage and holding temperatures.
- Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment such as blenders, mixers, grinders, slicers, and knives.
- Learn and work all the areas in the pastry section of the kitchen.
- Follows all standard food handling, sanitation, and health department guidelines. Ensures compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Maintains work area in clean, safe, and organized manner.
- 2 years experience at a restaurant, resort or hotel
MUST be available to work weeknights, weekends, holidays. Hours will vary but usually the shift will be 12pm - 830pm
