Summary
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures related to inventory control are accurate and consistently followed. This individual will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy by conducting periodic cycle counts, managing job and transactional variances, and auditing bin locations and labels. Ensuring seamless alignment between physical inventory and ERP system data is critical. This position will also lead quarterly inventory counts to ensure precision and accountability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Audit inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
· Reconcile discrepancies in inventory records and resolve variances.
· Perform physical and cycle counts regularly to maintain inventory accuracy.
· Manage and track scrap flow to ensure accuracy and accountability.
· Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for internal stakeholders.
· Implement, roll out, and ensure adherence to inventory policies and procedures.
· Investigate and manage variance issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
· Collaborate with finance and auditors to facilitate year-end audits and ensure compliance.

Education and /or Experience
· Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Inventory Analyst in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
· Extensive experience (7 years) working with ERP-based inventory management systems.
· Proven track record of working closely with finance teams and external auditors for year-end audits.
· Proficiency in Epicor and SAP ERP software.
· Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
· Strong auditing skills with attention to detail.
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
· Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Assertive and confident in influencing organizational change.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production dockets, customer orders. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
