Job description
These positions operate on a 12 hour shift, 2, 2, 3, rotation. We offer a weekend differential of $1.50/hr for Saturdays and Sundays in addition to base hourly rate. this position comes with a $2,500 signing bonus, payable at 6 months and 12 months of continuous employment.
Summary
The Machine Operator (Converting) ensures the production of products of unequaled quality using recent and sophisticated machines. Programming, adjustment and setting of machine parameters, adjusting between orders, and preventive maintenance of the machine and to help in the process of “troubleshooting” if necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Production quality control according to established standards.
· Adjust the settings of the industrial process machine during start-up according to the production parameters.
· Manufacture packaging that complies with quality standards.
· Operate the tubing machine using the control panels for the transformation of plastic film into high quality tubes according to various processes.
· Safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safety regulations.
· Keep your work environment clean and organized at all times.
· Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date and different types of products produced.
· Monitor indicators, computer readings and control screens to verify prescribed processing conditions and make adjustments to modify variables as required.
· Execute all other related tasks as directed when needed.
· Manually or mechanically transport the raw materials, finished products and others in the factory.
· Use of production reporting system to ensure accuracy of data and labels.
· 5S and housekeeping
· Participate in continuous improvement projects.
· Expand knowledge on tubing lines (and other equipment) through experience.
· Be able to operate in a team environment through proper communication and assisting each other during all steps of operation.

· Other duties as assigned.
Education and /or Experience
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
· Previous machine operating experience required.
· Experience working with blown film is a plus.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
· Safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safety regulations.
· Mathematical ability necessary.
· Ability to work various shifts.
· Basic computer skills required.

Pay: $27.27 per hour
