POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is based out of Montvale, NJ and we do not offer relocation at this time.
We are seeking a summer intern to support our Supply Chain Group, specifically Indirect Procurement in our Montvale, New Jersey corporate office. They will gain exposure to purchase order processing, spend analytics and individual sourcing projects to drive YoY savings. The experience will provide the opportunity for cross-functional teamwork, contribution to value-add projects and ability to gain experience within a developing organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support Corporate Indirect Purchase order processing with focus on improving efficiency/effectiveness.
- Support the big push in 2025 for Corporate Indirect cost out including:
- Spend analytics; and
- Indirect Spend Category Bid/RFQ support and award to drive YoY cost out.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing/Procurement, or Business.
- Good MS Office/computer skills.
- Ability to systematically organize and present data, manage to project deadlines and ability to work, communicate cross functionally.
