RectorSeal is seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to help lead and support our growing logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing key supply chain processes, supporting a high-performing team, and driving continuous improvements to ensure exceptional service and operational efficiency. This hybrid role will require an office presence for three to four days on-site at our facility during regular business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment. Occasionally, the employee will be exposed to a warehouse environment and will be required to wear appropriate PPE. The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee will be required to read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze certain information, and remember and understand certain instructions or guidelines. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to type, touch, handle, feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
Warehouse: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Compensation
RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing salary ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Based on your experience and market position, you are paid within the salary range. Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and optimize a high-volume email ticketing system to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient customer support while identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Support the hiring, training, and direct supervision of the Logistics Coordinator team, ensuring performance goals and KPIs are consistently met
- Oversee daily supply chain operations through clear communication with manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors
- Assist the Logistics Manager and senior leadership with freight pricing negotiations and vendor partnerships
- Plan, track, and manage final shipments, ensuring they meet customer deadlines and cost targets
- Collaborate with Ship Coordinators and Distribution Center (DC) Managers to maximize service levels, streamline operations, and control costs
- Partner with Credits, Customer Success, and Accounts Payable teams to resolve freight-related issues quickly and effectively
- Provide routing solutions and problem-solving support for complex freight challenges
- Establish and foster strong relationships with freight vendors and internal teams to support seamless operations
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance overall logistics performance
- Manage and resolve routine and unexpected disruptions within the supply chain
- Leverage analytical tools and methods to evaluate, forecast, and optimize logistics performance
- Oversee freight claims and payment processes to ensure accuracy in vendor payments and claims resolution
- Experience with Hazmat freight logistics
- 3–5 years of proven experience in a supervisory role or a related logistics leadership position with a track record of success
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and logistics software (such as JDE, Zendesk, and Carrier Portals)
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including inventory planning and warehouse management
- Strong ability to collaborate with business leaders and peers to anticipate challenges, develop solutions, and drive operational excellence
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach
- Ability to multitask and manage logistics across Freight and Operations departments
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Take ownership of individual tasks and projects, working independently while contributing to the overall success and performance of the logistics department
