- Provide outstanding customer service to guests, staff and vendors
- Help maintain a safe, clean and well-organized environment
- Perform distillery opening duties Monday through Friday and welcome and direct guests
- Proficient in google suite (sheets, drive, email, business, etc.)
- Answer and monitor the main phone line at the distillery taking messages and directing guests and vendors to the appropriate contact
- Monitor, answer and forward messages that come from guests to info@ email address
- Ensure there are always sufficient disposables on hand for the Visitor Center and conference room. Monitor and maintain a standard inventory
- Place orders for supply requests from the Director of Retail, FOH Manager and Head Bartender as requested
- Ensure there is a sufficient standing inventory of shipping supplies
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of breakroom, passthrough room and conference room. Run dishwasher at the end of the day and empty in the following morning
- Intake mail and packages, assuring they go to the appropriate place
- Assist the Director of Retail Operations as directed
- Tour coordination
Bookings, Cancellations, Special Requests, Setup, Standards, Execution
- Programming assistance
Weekly meetings, Setup, Execution. Asset Coordination
- Inventory coordination.
Monthly physical inventory and Evergreen Reordering
- VC/Sales/Blending Shipping Support
- Community Engagement Assistance and Donation liaison
- Coordinate projects for the Director of Retail Operations, this includes assisting other FOH management team members with their projects at the direction of the Director of Retail Operations
- Prepare shipments for the sales team, single barrel team, media and managers
- Act as point of contact for donation requests
- Perform retail sales for guests when bar staff is unable to or not present
- Assist bar staff with customer support when needed or requested
- Attend and participate in weekly FOH meeting
- Assist the FOH with special event as needed (this may include some weekend asks)
- Develop an intimate knowledge of Balcones history and products
- Learn and become fluent in our point of sale system
- Develop a good general understanding of whisky
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
