POSITION DESCRIPTION

Balcones Recycling is looking for a Class A CDL driver operating primarily tractor trailer and Front-End Loader and Roll-Off Trucks (Class B). The successful candidate must be self-motivated, an initiative-taker, and take the driver responsibility very seriously. There is growth potential with this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate vehicles in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and document utilizing the standard DVR.
• Deliver quality customer service and interaction at the utmost professional level.
• Record and maintain daily customer delivery tickets.
• Communicate customer requests and / or service interruptions to Operations staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

At least three (3) years of experience driving commercial routes, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry.

None

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Designated daily delivery / pick up route assignment(s).
