What are the responsibilities and job description for the Anticipated (Part-time) Para-Educator position at Bald Eagle Area School District?
The Bald Eagle Area School District has an Anticipated (part-time) Para-Educator opening at Wingate Elementary and/or the high school/middle school.This position will work under 30 hours a week.
Ideal start date: on or shortly after February 12, 2025.

Para-Educators are to assist in providing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a special education resource learning environment; to monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; and to perform a variety of other duties relative to assigned area of responsibility.
Education and Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience with mild to severely handicapped children is a plus. On the job training will be provided.

Act 168 paperwork- Current Physical (will accept if completed within6 month of hire start date)
- Current TB test (will accept if completed within6 monthof hire start date)
