The following are some of the proven intervention strategies to ensure that all secondary migrant students reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma:

C. Collect and review all migrant students’ mid-term reports. If a poor grade is noted, the Paraprofessional will contact the student and inquire as to the cause of the poor grade. Depending upon the student’s response,
the Paraprofessional could contact the parents, teacher, counselor, or whomever to arrange for additional academic tutoring to aid the student in achieving a passing score.
D. At the end of each semester, the Migrant Paraprofessional will complete the “On Track for Graduation” form and mail it to the Cooperative office.
E. Should a student fail an academic course, the Paraprofessional shall contact the Credit Recovery Coordinator as to the availability of an Academic Correspondence Course for credit recovery.
