Position Summary
Do you love food and all things digital? At Baldor, our Marketing team is responsible for creating awareness of our brand among potential customers and markets and supporting revenue growth via digital and offline channels via share of plate and share of market. We are looking for an innovative and data-driven Manager, Digital Marketing to help drive the digital function of our marketing team. This role will be instrumental in shaping our digital strategy and optimizing performance across ecommerce, email, paid media, search, and other digital channels - with the goals of increasing spend of existing customers and fueling acquisition of new customers.
As the Manager of Digital Marketing, your job will be to develop growth strategies that enhance customer journeys, drive product discovery and conversion, and encourage new customer applications. Your ability to strategize, implement, and iterate digital initiatives will play a critical role in meeting business goals and accelerating growth. In the first year, you will work a lot on building out our cross-selling and upselling strategies, motivating the creation of email journeys, and continuing to grow the revenue and favorability impact of our performance marketing. This is a job for a proactive strategist.
You will have two direct reports, and will be expected to lead them toward the department's goals. You will set some strategy but also must be comfortable being hands-on in our fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong understanding of third-party software platforms such as dynamic display software and CSAT tools, as well as a passion for leveraging data and BI context to create high-impact digital marketing strategies. You are someone who goes above and beyond simply facilitating channel and media activities-rather, you are ideating and driving key strategies to create a culture of perpetual improvement in marketing. You will be tasked with building best-in-class experiences, leveraging tools and data to inform decision-making, and inspiring a team to achieve meaningful results in a highly visible digital environment that at the end of the day is all about food. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Analytics & Digital, and work closely with an analyst, the Marketing , Product and Technology teams. This is a hybrid role, but will be expected to be in the office at our Bronx, NY headquarters at least 2 days per week.
Responsibilities :
- Guide our digital marketing strategy across channels to create seamless customer experiences :
Help improve our ecommerce, email marketing, paid media, search, and other digital channels to help create the ideal purchase journey and encourage product exploration.
Continuously work to improve performance across all digital channels to maximize return on effort and investment.
Collaborate with analytics, marketing, and merchandising teams to design and implement effective cross-sell and up-sell strategies on web, app, and email.
Map, analyze, and refine the customer journey across digital interaction points, using insights to improve experiences and drive basket size & product penetration.
Manage and utilize third-party platforms, including dynamic display software and CSAT, and A / B testing tools to enhance digital marketing efforts, build customer feedback programs, and grow customer value and sentiment.
Manage the digital marketing function of the team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to team members.
Partner closely with Product, Technology, and Merchandising teams to integrate digital marketing efforts with broader business goals.
Align KPIs for all digital marketing efforts with the Senior Marketing Analyst, pushing to improve cadence reporting on performance and insights.
