Position Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Summer Intern to join our Baldor team. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience and work alongside experts in the field. You will own a department challenge project (under the guidance of a manager/mentor) from problem statement to potential solution designs and present it to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the summer. In addition, you will assist with various ongoing projects, conduct research, and develop skills in a real-world business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the completion of ongoing projects, providing support as needed.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market data.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing files, scheduling meetings, and preparing materials.
- Provide general support to team members, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study (or equivalent) at an accredited university or college.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
