We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cafeteria Staff Member to join our team at Baldwin County Public Schools. As a key member of our school nutrition program, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of food to students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and service of food according to the written menu of the day and supervisor's instructions.
- Perform food storage, inventory control, equipment cleaning, assembly, and disassembly, as well as related serving and sanitation tasks as assigned.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to meet the suitability criteria for employment and/or certification/licensure under the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No. 2002-457.
- Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment necessary for performance of job responsibilities.
- Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
