Job Summary:
- Implement local school Child Nutrition Program (CNP) effectively.
- Provide healthy, nutritious meals and food preparation services for students, staff, visitors, and community members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and service according to written menu and supervisor's instructions.
- Perform food storage, inventory control, equipment cleaning, and related tasks.
- Operate food service equipment according to established procedures.
- Participate in job rotation or assist in other CNP activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to meet suitability criteria for employment and/or certification/licensure.
- Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow CNP guidelines and regulations.
