About the Role
The Maintenance and Custodial Services Manager will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our schools and facilities. This position will oversee the daily operations of our custodial team and ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and equipped to support student learning.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance services
- Develop and implement plans to improve facilities operations and reduce costs
- Manage inventory and supply ordering to ensure adequate stock levels
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
- Collaborate with school administrators and staff to develop and implement emergency response plans
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in custodial or facilities management, including supervisory experience
- Proven track record of improving facilities operations and reducing costs
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
