Summer Learning Camp Site Coordinator
Site Coordinator Goals
- Plan and oversee implementation of summer learning camps in accordance with the Alabama Literacy Act and the Alabama Numeracy Act.
- Ensure pre/post assessment data is collected and reported in accordance with the Alabama Literacy Act and the Alabama Numeracy Act.
- Guide summer learning camp teachers through the process of identifying additional instructional resources and teaching strategies.
- Conduct daily classroom observations and model instructional strategies to summer learning camp teachers.
- Serve as the point of contact for summer learning camp teachers and parents/guardians of those enrolled in the school’s summer learning camp.
- Collaborate with the summer learning camp coordinator, host site designated administrator, transportation director, and nursing supervisor, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Elementary Curriculum Department.
