- Teachers will report to one of the ten summer school sites: BCH, DPH, FHPH, FLYH, RBDH, SPFH, ELBH, CF Taylor, BPA, and BCVS
Summer School Teachers: Pay $32.00 per hour
Special Ed Teachers as needed: Pay $32.00 per hour
Summer School Staff Tentative Daily Schedule 8:00am-1:00pm
Summer School Training: June 2, 2025, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Summer School Schedule
Starts June 4, 2025 (Summer School Staff Holiday June 19, 2025)
Summer School Staff Mid-Session Break: The week of July 1st, 2025
Summer School Resumes: July 7th and ends July 17, 2025
Total = 22 days/year
Summer school for middle and high school students begins on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 and ends on Thursday, July 17, 2025. There is a holiday for Juneteenth, June 19, 2025. There is a break the week of July 1st. Summer school resumes on Monday, July 7, 2025 and ends on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Middle school students will attend summer school during the same dates as high school students this year.
Note: Summer school employees will be required to facilitate online computer programs for ACCESS and Edgenuity. Summer school counselor, facilitator and administrator training is being held June 2, 2025 from 8:30am-3:00pm at the PAC Building in Foley, Alabama.
