Position Summary:
The Workforce Planning – Program Manager is a creative, disciplined, and strategic leader. This role will develop and execute the year-round workforce planning business process and drive the Workday component of the plan. This role will lead as an individual contributor and foster an enterprise-wide culture of cross-collaboration and innovation through organizational and process design, talent activation, team effectiveness and change management. This role has overall responsibility for leading, managing, and improving the programs, projects, and processes relating to the overall employee experience and determining appropriate actions and functional needs to improve employee advancement and retention including, but not limited to, the future of workforce planning and organizational design.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop company strategies for retention, recruitment, skill training and development, coaching and knowledge management to accomplish organization's business objectives and fulfill existing talent demands.
Evaluate current and future staffing needs through report generation to assess job volume, opportunity, and job optimization including the identification of obsolete roles.
Design and lead performance management and the talent assessment process to support a culture of high performance and innovation while positively impacting overall employee retention.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the HR Leadership Team and business leaders by partnering closely with and participating in the development of BRP’s strategic plans and identifying employee experience opportunities, translating them into HR people strategies.
Provide organization effectiveness (OE) support in achieving implementation of a delivery model while embracing Root’s mission and values.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or related field
8 years’ Workforce Planning/Organization Effectiveness experience
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
8 years of progressively more responsible Workforce Planning and Organization Effectiveness work experience with proven outcomes and designing organizational strategies that support business strategies and goals.
Proven track record of innovation and leadership without authority.
Experienced in job forecasting, skill development through training programs, and job optimization.
Ability to overcome resistance to change while preparing and supporting those affected by change.
Demonstrated skill in collaborating and partnering to garner support and build trusting and permanent relationships, partnerships and alliances with various groups and interests.
Successful track record of strong project management across a series of competing priorities.
Strategic mindset with a willingness to be hands-on and ensure operational excellence. Demonstrated strong communication/interpersonal & facilitation skills across all levels of an organization, including C-Suite; ability to manage by influence.
Ability to coach others to instill a sense of responsibility, uses ownership to empower people towards greater results.
Display analytical thought leadership on the HR process flows and infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize quantitative data into easy-to-understand and actionable recommendations through a consulting mindset to achieve progress and positively impact business operations.
High attention to detail with highly effective verbal and written communications skills.
A natural affinity for collaboration and drive for results necessary.
Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture.
Advanced proficiency in workforce planning processes and workflows using Workday
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g. Monday.com) required
Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary
