Since 2003 our Hibbing branch has been supporting customers in northern Minnesota. We are looking for a new team member on our conveyor belt installation team . The belt technician will Install conveyor belt, vulcanize, and lag pulleys either on site or in the shop. Our Conveyor Belt Technicians professionally represent the Company with the knowledge and skills to provide customers’ light and heavy weight belting application needs.
Essential Functions (Duties include but are not limited to) :
- Use hand tools, power tools and equipment to cut, shape, splice, and fit various conveyor belting materials / fabricate conveyor belts
Rigging, cutting belt, operating winch and vulcanizer

Compensation :
Compensation consists of shop and field rate work. The shop rate is $25.75 / hr. Field work will be paid at the appropriate level assigned based on skill; the field rate ranges from $26 / hr - $39 / hr.
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use his / her hands and fingers with strength, coordination and precision and see details at close range. The employee is regularly required to bend, kneeling / stooping on multiple surfaces, stand and balance, reach, push, pull, climb, talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and infrequently lift up to 100 pounds. Drive company vehicle / equipment / forklift.
Salary : $26 - $39
