Maintenance Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

The Quality Control Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of quality communities people are proud to call home. This position is responsible for overseeing quality assurance related to service request data review and completion follow-up within the service request/work order management database (YARDI), as directed by the Facilities Manager/Director.

• Responsibly reviews and follows up on all work orders categorized in YARDI software as Life, Health, Safety (LHS). Collaborates with Work Order Service Center Coordinators to ensure status and notes for all LHS-categorized Work Orders are updated daily.
• Conducts 100% work quality reviews on all maintenance tech/contractor work orders related to LHS and Emergency/Urgent work orders. Ensures relevant photos and inspection notes are uploaded to each respective work order, working closely with Work Order Service Center Coordinators to add accurate notes/photos immediately after each review.
• Reviews quality of work and inspections of Contractor/Subcontractor work, coordinated with Facilities Manager/Director. Documents work quality inspections within each respective work order, including pertinent notes and photos.
• Ensures all work meets specific industry standards goals and benchmarks, inspecting work to meet these requirements.
• Guarantees workmanship is completed to standard and addresses any issues promptly, bringing them to the FM/FD's attention and following through until corrected.
• Retrieves and enters data into/from Yardi throughout the quality control process, communicating findings to Facility Management as necessary.
• May perform additional duties, such as coordinating steps associated with specific service request classifications, scheduling, inspecting, and working with Air Force Military Housing Office partners on regular basis, inspecting COM homes for quality control standards.
