As a Maintenance Technician at Balfour Beatty Communities, you play a crucial role in meeting this objective by maintaining the overall physical condition of our communities and providing world-class service to our valued residents.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose maintenance issues and make necessary repairs
- Ensure all resident service requests and other community maintenance are completed in a timely manner
You will work closely with residents, maintenance teams, and other community staff to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks. Your expertise and dedication will contribute significantly to our goal of delivering exceptional living experiences.
In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents and colleagues.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4-6 years of maintenance experience
- Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following disciplines: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- EPA 608 certification, boiler certification, and other certifications as required within 9 months of employment
Work Conditions:
Work is performed in and outside a maintenance/machinery environment and in and outside residential properties. Employees frequently interact directly with residents, maintenance, and communities' staff during the workday.
