Bali Construction is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team and play a key role in our Field Operations Department. The Dispatcher will coordinate Drivers, Heavy Transport Operators, and union employees, ensuring project needs are met by managing equipment rentals, shoring, and vendor relationships. This role also involves maintaining smooth daily operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for dispatching and coordinating the Drivers and Heavy Transport Operators for project assignments and union employees
- Onboarding employees; review dispatching procedures
- Ensure the project specifications are met by ordering equipment moves and other heavy equipment rentals needed
- Manage vendor relationships and rental equipment shoring
- Records, tracks, and monitors customer relations complaints and forwards them to the project team
- Manage and track rental shoring for multiple projects and notify the Superintendent and Operation Manager
- Plan and update the job board weekly using short interval planning (SIP) to assign Field employees to work assignments (projects)
- Manages and approves 500 invoices monthly for multiple projects while staying within budget
- Manage the updating of Southern CA/Dig Alert ticket permits
- Facilitate office tasks, such as filing, setting up for meetings, and report generation/ submission
- Participate actively in IT software updates, training, and Cybersecurity awareness. Utilizes best practices for data and cybersecurity
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management
Position Requirements: Experience, Education & Skills
- 2 years experience
- Proficient in MS Office, intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and ability to learn industry-specific software
- General knowledge of equipment, transportation, and DOT rules and regulations
- B2W- Scheduling and Dispatching Software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others
- Proficient in navigating GPS Tracking software such as Tenna
Physical Requirements:
- Carrying/ Lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Standing/Sitting: As needed
- Keyboard entry, telephone use
- Spend extended hours in front of a computer screen
- Environment exposure: General office, outdoors, work in all weather conditions, such as heat, dry, rain, dirty, and dusty conditions. Work on uneven ground conditions. The noise level in the work environment may be high
