Customer Retention Specialist

The Balise Automotive Group is now seeking qualified candidates to provide excellent customer service with a focus on overall customer satisfaction and retention in a call center environment.
Job Description:
- Answer all inbound phone calls according to a pre-set script and schedule appointments.
- Initiate customer outreach/outbound calls regarding service needs and available offers to establish service appointments.
- Respond to customer inquiries and questions by telephone, email and/or text.
- Provide customers with vehicle and service information as appropriate.
- Accurately enter new customer information into system.
- Verify and update existing customer information.
- Identify and escalate priority issues.
- Partner with Service Advisors & Parts departments in all Balise dealerships to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Document call information according to standard operating procedures.
- Route calls as appropriate and per procedure.
- Learn and apply product knowledge for multiple dealer brands.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Environmental & Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds
- This position may require up to 10% travel

Qualifications
Skills & Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Customer service, sales, or telemarketing background helpful, but not necessary.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
- Good data entry and typing skills.
- A positive attitude, exceptional work ethic, and a willingness to learn
