Job Description
Massachusetts Vehicle State Inspector
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform Massachusetts State inspections
- Complete all inspections with the highest quality and customer service
- Interpret and analyze inspection results and decisions based on standards set by the State of Massachusetts
- Document and keep records of all inspections via company protocols
- Keep work area clean and assist with shop cleanliness
Pay:
- Hourly rate based upon experience
- PTO up to 120 hours per year – exact accruals to be discussed upon hire
Environmental & Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 50 pounds
- A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required
- This position requires up to 5% travel

Qualifications:
- Inspector State License (Massachusetts Vehicle Check Program)

- Technical courses (ex, ASE) are not required, but ideal
- Must have a valid driver’s license
