Ball HealthCare Services, Inc. is searching for an experienced Payroll Specialist for our corporate office in Mobile, Alabama to support the day-to-day operations of the corporate payroll department and our technicians in the field. Under the supervision of the Controller, the successful candidate will provide administrative assistance with all payroll functional areas including, but not limited to processing, auditing, reconciliation and benefits administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of key areas such as Department of Labor (DOL) standards, Fair Labor Standards Act, and the principles of payroll accounting
- 2 years of demonstrated payroll experience
- 2 years customer service and office management experience
- Supervisory experience highly preferred, but not required
- Must be able to work well with others and express self adequately in written and oral communication.
- Must have the ability to work independently to plan day-to-day responsibilities.
