Description
Professional to lead maintenance crew, maintaining turf, perennials beds, annual beds, and native plants throughout a 60 acre campus of an industry leading ornamental plant, seed provider.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Grounds maintenance team to maintain the Ball Horticultural campus
- Take responsibility for and maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of Grounds to provide a world class facility for our employees and customers
- Train, supervise, and coach team members to ensure employees produce high quality work.
- Operate equipment and train team members on equipment, i.e. dump trucks, mowers, tractors, skid steers, plows, mini-ex
- Lead safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment for employees and visitors at Ball.
- Maintaining turf, landscape, flower Beds, native plants, weeding and irrigation.
- Aid in snow removal
- Greenhouse responsibilities - filling pots, transplanting, sticking cuttings, trimming, harvesting cuttings and other miscellaneous tasks.
