Job Type Full-time Description

The purpose of this position is to maintain an international, multi-site environment that is hosted in a Cloud Service environment, ensuring reliability and enforcing IT governance and security standards.

Responsibilities :

Proactive monitoring of all network devices, cloud-services, using a combination of tools to ensure high availability and SLA’s, includes working with (network NOC, MSP, and security SOC). (20%)
Work on projects that align with the IT Department and Company Goal (20%)
Provide Level 2, 3 support and technical ability to IT groups, Users and Customers (20%)
Perform other duties as assigned. (10%)
Identify and evaluate new technologies & security standards, collaborate with other team members to complete tasks (10%)
Provide proactive monitoring ‘availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency (10%)
Stay current on security trends and pursue preventative security measures, ensure business continuity, backup and disaster recovery. (10%)
Provide emergency 24 x 7 on-call support on a rotating basis
Involved in monthly rotation of maintenance patching, and after-hours support

Requirements

BS in Computer Science, Networking or equivalent work experience

5 years in IT system networking and / or support

3 years hands on experience within supporting multi-site environments, including LAN, WAN, Wifi topologies, including Azure cloud environment, while providing / enforcing global security governance and standards

Exposure to Microsoft Office 365 best practices

Exposure to Microsoft Azure

Ability to provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex problem solving, and experience maintaining clear, concise documentation and network diagrams.

Experience implementing security policies and managing security tools (reacting to incident alerts and working with security providers)

Desired Experience & Skills :

Exposure to management of infrastructure supporting SAP S / 4 Hana

Exposure to migrating Active Directory in a Hybrid to Entra, including the use of Intune to manage desktops

Knowledge of IP addressing and common networking protocols like IPv4 and IPv6.

Knowledge of common operating systems such as Windows (2016 & up), Linux and MAC OS.

Knowledge working with a (network NOC and security SOC)

Knowledge of ISP / Communication Providers that includes Express-route and Dynamic Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)

Mobile device management (MDM) and remote access technologies

Physical Requirements :

Ability to travel average of 5% per year

Ability to be able to lift approximately 20-50 pounds (with assistance when needed).

Able to maneuver under workstations and in other areas that are not easily accessible.

Salary Range : 75-100K annually
