Job Type Full-time Description
Job Purpose :
To manage a group of IT professionals tasked with configuring and supporting the various platforms used by Ball globally. The vast majority is Microsoft’s Office 365 administration and security but also includes some support for platforms such as Esker document management, SAP user authorizations and Dialpad phone systems.
Responsibilities :
- Review and develop the skills of the individuals in the Platforms group to ensure we are meeting the needs of the business (30%)
- Ensure standard operating procedures and governance and being followed for our Platforms to create consistent and agreed upon outcomes (20%)
- Approve the addition of new applications or platforms added to the allowed software so it can be appropriately supported and meets a business need to justify the addition (10%)
- Oversee the development of standard operating procedures and governance for new applications or platforms being added to the Platforms group (10%)
- Manage projects tasked to the Platforms group and 3rd party service providers (15%)
- Research new technologies or changes to existing technologies supported by the Platforms group to keep our tools up to date and secure (15%)

Salary Range : 110-140K annually

The gardens are primarily used as a sales and marketing tool but also provide a great relaxation opportunity for staff at the home office.
